A song for my ex-wife and I. Borrowed time we had. So beautiful of a story. She did wrong. I left with our child. Shadows unfamiliar to me dance around the walls of the most familiar places. Now I've become a stranger in my own home. I'd fall asleep with her next to me...... but I'd rather wake up alone. I've seen you guys five times in NC/SC area over the years. You guys are wonderful. You guys and Fit for a King should co-headline with 10-15 songs apiece in your tours.

I have come to the conclusion that anyone that says Augment is better than this album doesn't have studio monitors. The clarity, dynamic sections, guitar layers, how bright a crisp the vocal tracks are next level in this album, nothing out their compares right now. Invest in some JBL308s and listen to this, you will not be disappointed. I thought I liked Augment more than this but when I go back, it has its moments but the craftsmanship of this album is light years beyond Augment, from a production and writing standpoint. IMHONESTO
@n8can2chitown246 жыл бұрын
I completely agree. One thing tho is that the cymbal in the left side is panned too far left and not compressed/eq'd enough. Other than that, this mix and production is some of the best I've heard in metal.

@@noahbutler4683 I understand what you say in terms of sound quality, but I don't only look at music from a technical standpoint. I don't own studio monitors neither. I think the abysmal production really undermines the quality of musicianship on Neon. For example there is amazing guitar work on many tracks but you don't notice because it's buried somewhere deep within the mix. To be honest the vocals are the only thing that sound good on this album, the rest sounds much worse compared to previous albums and i blame the mix for that

@@nomeru_0 i don't really think so. Concerning the quality of the songs my only complaints would be how similar Jesse sounds compared to Drift and how one-note JT is. The riffs are amazing though. Lyrics: Terror creeps like a hurricane Oppressing the seas, trying to sink my vessel Powerless to the crippling wake Pull me in and destroy my faith With my liquid lungs, I can breathe Free of broken memories that keep holding on Contemplating love you spent only to feel alone I feel alone Love you spent only to feel alone Still holding on A hollow heart holds no peace Can we forgive and forget, receive and protect When we carry our prisons in our heads? Carve my legacy into the stone For my light can only burn so long But before I go, my brimstone bones Will smolder all my fears of the unknown Free of broken memories that keep holding on Contemplating love you spent only to feel alone I feel alone Love you spent only to feel alone And no strength to let it go In my wishing well, where all my words turn to stone Speak to me through grit teeth; a broken soul And a heart that wants to take control Who's to say whether we should drift? I can feel you slipping away Shadows unfamiliar to me Dance around the walls of the most familiar places Now I've become a stranger in my own home I'd fall asleep with you next to me, now every day I wake alone Shadows of strangers compose themselves reluctantly How can you confront your fears when they stand back to back? Trust in a disconnect to make the pieces fit, oh Shadows of strangers Shadows of strangers Hope you left behind Home is undefined Hope you left behind Home is undefined

Megaromania - Transparent shine kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWrNnXehn7CKg7M It's another band, but they feel that the guitar is similar in how emotional and outstanding it feels. As for standing out and achieving success. Drift and Ultimate theme are the most inspiring for life. That unlike other songs or songs Metalcore its lyrics are very negative. Songs like these are like Christian or spiritual Metalcore so to speak. This has always pushed me forward to achieve my dreams and expectations without looking negative.
