This CD is like Matriarch 2 or 4. Maybe 6 based on the cover. Love it Lukas and Sam Applebaum! I made the greatest album of a time but these people crashed my life. Marc I love you man and I've met you before in Oakland. Deftones "never release a bad album". Sam I met you in Berkeley and told you i loved Matriarch. Lukas i met you at the Cornerstone and Marc got right up next to me. I recorded 12 songs with a Boss Katana in an electrical room while homeless. It's called musicisdeadandsoareyou. I was working at the time but since have been baited in massive vilification. They hacked my protools, changed tempos and keep removing my closed high hats to test my brass. They froze my PC on the outro track and glitched my midi instruments. I still finished it but someone put looney tune sounds on my Chi Cheng ode Sonic Chi. I fixed everything with pro editing capturing 2 unique takes for stereo. Turn the volume all the way up. It sounds great. It makes me cry and shake with excitement. Skip a track or two if you need. It's only 26 minutes. I tried to redo the guitar with a Marshall tube amp but the power amp tube was sabotaged as well as my guitar pickup selector. I woke up with numb legs after seeing someone next to the car. It's only one guitar line at a time. No base drops but mega low synth bass hand keyed. Drums are midi graphed. There's a strange low-mid saturation in the vox and guitars that gives the production an overly "warm" sound that I'm not so sure about... good stuff compositionally but not sure about some of the tones in the production, almost have a "softening" quality to them that isn't great for HARD music. The transition from heavy to chill at 1:30 is just epic tho
