I think Kaveh and WWX do not share a lot of similarities but share the most important traits that make them...them. The kindness and selflessness are very important parts of them that they share. They are both very kind to the point that they often suffer from their own kindness. In my own opinion, I also think that they have the same sense of justice. They can sympathize with people who have bad experiences but also hold them guilty if they did bad things. (WWX sympathized with Xue Yang but hold XY to the crime he committed. Kaveh said it himself that he can understand people's reasons but won't always agree with them.)

I think the Wei Wuxian/Kaveh parallel is not quite good. Kaveh is not capable of the ruthlessness Wei Wuxian is capable of. Kaveh is not flirty, he can be very awkward in social situations. Also, Wei Wuxian has no problem bending the rules, Kaveh didn't even want to follow his client in his hangout, because he thought it was illegal.. But, yeah, they have some similarities.

There are still _some_ parallels though - like how they're both self-sacrificing idiots who put others before themselves and their horrible sense of self-worth. They're also both "prodigies" that were 'popular' in a way (wwx was known for mastering the 6 arts and his archery while Kaveh's a master architect) before their 'demise' (in wwx's case, his reputation was destroyed beyond repair, while Kaveh's was more towards his poor financial situation). But yeah, wwx's morality (especially when he was Yiling Lazou) is a bit skewed.

@@NihiiYT Actually Kaveh struggled in school, according to his hangout. The thing he was talented in, was shunned by the sages, and other darshans. Since in modern Sumeru, arts are worthless, and seen as something unnecessary, the other darshans, and sages ostrachized Kaveh, and the Darshan Kaveh is the representative of. Kshahrewar is the most underfunded school, and it's only afloat becauser of Dori's patronage. But yeah, there are similarities.

​@@pepita2437 My original point was more lenient on the 'prodigy' aspect of it. I'm pretty sure there was an NPC that talked about how Kaveh would've done better in another darshan (like Amurta or Haravatat) and that he was "too good" for Ksharewar. He's also recognized as the "second coming of Pir Kavikus" and the "Light of the Ksharewar" and the Palace of Alcazarzaray is recognised as his "magnum opus", etc... I agree with you though - Kaveh DEFINITELY struggled during his days at the Akademiya (proven by how much of an insomniac he is).
