You're the first CC I know that enjoys the post-trailer part for the music. I always stick around after the trailer for the end music as well so it's great to see someone else who also enjoys that part of the trailer video. 3.0 is by far my favorite version trailer due to its cinematic nature. If we took out the character introduction parts, it would be indiscernable from a real movie trailer. None of the other trailers come close to it, IMO. The music that plays post-3.0 trailer usually plays when you visit Sumeru's cafe and eatery. It's my favorite non-battle Sumeru music and I have it set as my Teapot domain music. Speaking of which, once you finish the Liyue Archon Quests, the quests to unlock the Teapot, the TCG, and the fishing, should be available. They should all have a teal bar on the side of their titles in the Quest menu screen.

3.0 is still the most epic trailer they've made imo. I don't think any trailer has come close other than some certain ones in fontaine

I think 4.1 trailer is slightly better but yes 3.0 trailer is incredible

@@simonebartoletti97 yeah 4.1 is the one I was referring to. Both are on the same level imo but considering 3.0 was pretty early on I'll give it an upper hand

56:53 The themes in this summer event really had a bit of Fontaine flavor to them. I think it was intended, as the last version before they released Fontaine. The change in music along with some of the new mechanics in Fontaine were incorporated in this event for players to become accustomed to them in advance.
@DanaOtken3 күн бұрын
For that matter, the more recent summer event had a fair bit of Natlan in it hiding beneath the surface, and from what I've seen this goes back through all the summer events. Preceding the release of a new region, we always get two in-game sources of information about it: an upsurge in event content involving travelers from or residents of that region to give us previously unknown information about its nature and recent events, and a summer event whose story is incidental to the main game yet always gives us an abstract look at themes underlying the new region - and usually some mild spoilers if you can recognize them in time. (For Fontaine we got to find out about the inexplicable energy crisis - it was clear even then that both Fontaine's elemental nature and geography work against the concept - which researchers have been devoting efforts towards addressing over the last decades, and how oddly and poorly those efforts have gone. And while you could actually get through this summer storyline without stumbling across it, there's a reasonably obvious secret there addressing the nature of stories, storytellers, and the audience which confirmed all my tentative guesses as to what the basic perspective of the Hydro Archon five centuries ago had been towards the nation's future problems and needs.)

@@DanaOtken Yes and they have been pretty consistent since the first golden apple. When i was doing Natlan's archon quest at first i was wondering how it connects to the summer event. But as the quest progressed, it all made sense.

Something to note about Collei vs Tighnari eventually in terms of teambuilding- later on you'll find you want to build around certain skill combos, and the general basic Genshin comp is one "main" on-field DPS (which are characters who have good consistent damage and/or require a lot of time to do their thing), two support characters (either DPS characters who drop a thing and leave, like how Collei tends to fire her skills and leave; or characters that buff allies/debuff enemies/apply elements effectively), and a defensive unit, a healer or shielder. Tangent aside, Tighnari is best suited to the On-Field slot because while he's faster than most of his peers in that slot, he still takes a lot of field time to get his damage down. And as mentioned before, Collei is most useful for dropping her skill + burst as quickly as possible and then immediately switching, making her a support character. tl;dr despite both being Dendro Bow characters, they don't tend to compete in teambuilding. They fill different roles. Naturally that's less important in the earlygame though.

That first version trailer was so exciting to watch on release, and the music in that trailer was probably my favourite part. I don't think I've ever gotten chills quite the same way with any trailer since then.

The theme at the end of 3.6 is "Dance of Scorpions". One of my desert favorites.

Don't worry too much about spoilers in these. You are right that you will forget most of it by the time you get to play the story. Also, they are on purpose a bit misleading and lines that seem to go together are, in fact from completely different parts of the tale.

Ending music in 3.5 is one of variations of witches music, which you certainly experience sometime, I think they are no more in trailers

They do tend to play a remixed version of the character’s theme when they show them in the trailer. You can explore the other areas when you’re not in their part of the story, only exception being Inazuma but if you don’t want to, you’re good

The first part of the music for the 3.1 trailer reminds me of the theme for the Pulp Fiction movie.

Little does he know that that Sumeru's story is mostly pointless and can be solved quicker by busting down a door and punch several people in the face and the devs got incredibly lazy with the map expansions 😅
