Kachina is like the perfect insecure character for me. Even when she gets in her own head, she marches forward because of the people who believe in her and through that she can accomplish her goals, even when she thought she was nothing. I feel like Natlan is very *dense* in terms of exploration, from what I've seen there's quite a few major world quests and along with pyroculus and tribal chronicles theres quite a lot of stuff to do even in that small space. I spent a few hours opening chests and gathering pyroculus and just barely got ONE of the regions to 50% exploration while the others were 20% at max LOL

@@swissbrick8780 But the thing is people complained about Sumeru's region updates being so large, and yet Natlan is around the same size (map wise) with a lot of stuff to do. You're right it is dense with exploration. And yet I've seen a lot of people state it felt small. My point is the map as it is and us being use to the overall map size currently skews ones perspective when new content get's added. It's just like people stating the Natlans first installment of the Archon Quest was short but it's 6-7 hours long. which was about how long Fontaines first part was. Sumeru's was a bit shorter and people still complain it was too long. Perspective is funky.

Same here! I've always been one to quickly get attached characters and what they stand for, but Natlan had me hooked really fast. I think part of it is how welcoming and kind everyone is. The game takes a proper amount of time to make sure you're attached to the characters before we learn the stakes. I was worried what people would think of Kachina, I may have adopted her immediately but I know that's not usually what happens in the community

Yeah they did a great job of making the characters relatable and likeable. The balance of action sequences also alleviated the usual Genshin issue of quests being 99% dialogue. I honestly think this was the best act 1 we've gotten so far. Act 2 is also pretty great. Hope you enjoy it.

The screen breaking during combat is a mechanic that happens when you deal elemental damage and you have at least 1 natlan character in you party. It's called nightsoul burst. Everyone can do that reaction as long as there is a natlan character in the party. It doesn't do anything by it self, but it helps some passive and artifact sets. For example, for mualani, every proc of nightsoul burst increases her next ultimate damage, max 3 stack. Also, nightsoul burst has a cooldown that decreases the more natlan character you have. I think it the cooldown was 18/12/9 seconds for 1/2/3 natlan characters in the party

I didn't realize that the waypoint in Natlan was already unlocked after the little goodbye with the Fontaine characters, so I actually teleported to the desert statue and crossed the sands under a starlit sky until I eventually saw the new region from atop a dune. Not mad for missing the waypoint because it felt so unique to fly into the new region at dawn and hearing the new soundtrack for the first time. Loving Natlan so far!! Excited to see you make a video about it too! :)

Funny thing is when I was naming the saurian, the first thing that came into mind is Navia. She came to mind since I use her a lot and I just saw her earlier in the quest. Another one that came into mind is Aether because I had him in geo form at that time mostly from when I was experimenting with using him as Navia's support. Because of those I named the little guy "Navither." Kinda fitting isn't it? Two golden/yellow clothed geo characters being the basis for the name of a geo saurian.

I love your reaction so much for this archon quest that I watch the whole way through even though I haven't did it myself. Gonna do it eventually though to get the 500 primo reward. Fun fact, you notice that people won't talk to you if you're a Saurian, but do you know you can talk to a Saurian regardless of species? For example, in the beginning, there's a little baby Tepetlisaur called Nini in the Children of Echoes. You can transform into any Saurian to talk to her.
