Sumi gaeshi (2/2)

From Overhook position
- if not bent forward attack o soto gari
- If bent forward and you can catch the arm do a turn throw such as harai goshi or tai otoshi
- If bent forward but you can’t get arm control then go for armpit hook and sumi gaeshi
From Russian tie position
- bent forward use the forward leg and do an off center sumi gaeshi
- if you can’t break the lapel grip but get to the outside of the arm take a modified Russian tie by controlling the wrist and far shoulder/ neck.
- you can use the same off center sumi attacks
- if uptight do an elbow down backstep pull
