I find this style of filming unboxings to be far more relaxing to watch. I can just focus on the details on the pieces & it also lets you focus on the items since you are not on camera.

tokake is originally a dinosaur disguised as a lizard. he is pretending to be a lizard because he is afraid people will find out he is a dinosaur and be experimented on! so he’s hiding. the dinosaur next to tokake is his mother and the little slug is another character that is best friends with tokake. I forgot his name but he is also pretending to be another thing like tokake. he is a slug but he is pretending to be a snail by puting shells (or in this case, cherry) on his back.

thanks so much for all of that! Yeah, I read more into the characters after filming this (should have read more beforehand I just always liked them because they're cute.... had no idea they had such lengthy backstories!!) and it makes me love them all even more :D

You couldn't have described these figures any better than when you said about them being some type of art form. If these figures were only drawings, we would still be amazed by them and find them super cute, detailed, and creative; but the fact that they've taken those ideas from people's heads onto a drawing and then transformed those designs and drawings into an actual physical figure is always so amazing to me. I love the fact that art allows people's ideas to jump out of their heads into the physical world and elicit a positive response from those who are now able to experience what was only an abstract idea in our brains before. I really enjoy your view and honest energy on the collectibles you unbox. Keep doing the great job you're doing on your channel and stay safe! :>

I watch manga hauls and a few other item hauls. Personally, I prefer the "hands" view. I feel like it is a lot cleaner to video tape + easier for the viewer. I am making manga & comic videos on another channel and the hands makes me much less self conscious. Plus I can just focus on my speech and my items. Like the quality goes up a lot more [in my opinion], lighting and such with hands only.

These are so cute! I love all the little pieces. It just adds another element to it. Maybe at some point you could do like a redemption video where you get a couple of boxes from a few of the sets you're collecting just to see if you can fill in the gaps of ones you're missing? I don't know. Yours are the only unboxing I watch. 😂
