Beautiful island but they are notorious for having an annual slaughter of marine life in the bay. They round up & kill thousands of dolphins and whales and the water turns blood red. Some ppl call it an old tradition but not all traditions are worth holding on to. Especially one that involves destroying so many sentient beings out of pure greed and bloodlust.

I'm entirely sure that the crowd must have thinned before Roger arrived. And for him to give his all for those who were still there, at such a late hour, is truly heroic. MUCH respect for him, the fans, and the tech crew.
@geoffpoole48310 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. I've got a Supertramp compilation somewhere and Give A Little Bit is one of my favourites but I don't know that much about the band. I doubt if many people would have blamed him for pulling out, especially when one considers that this show took place on the Faroe Islands, a fairly remote place with a small population. The fact that he went ahead with the show at 4 a.m. says a lot about his integrity as a person and as a musician. It also shows the deep respect he felt towards the Faroe Islanders themselves. The world needs more people like him.
