funny I was thinking the same as previous poster, very informative, thank you , as a beekeeper commercial agricultural crops are always a concern, it would be great if these chemicals were never ever used considering how harmful they are to beneficial insects such as our bees, while your research shows pollen as relatively safe, the other two methods may be culpable in colony collapse so the chemical companies are not off the hook yet

I live in the city, so dont have to worry about farm pesticides that much. But the one I worry about is the pesticide they use to spray for killing mosquitoes. They use a truck to spray or fog for the skeeters, just hope it doesnt bother bees.

Thanks for presenting the results of your research. I appreciate the scientific method approach. I have a few questions that I hope will be fielded in this platform. What, if any, disclosures does Dyce Lab have, and do any individual researchers have pertinent disclosures? From what source or sources was the research into agricultural corn pollen pesticide levels funded? To your collective knowledge have there been studies into varroa destructor levels and winter survivorship in wild bee populations in NY state, and if so do your results align with the wild population? Thanks again for your work and sharing of your content. Cheers!
