I Live in Alabama and we have some great crappie fishing here on Wheeler and Guntersville lakes. I Learned how to livescope fish by watching your videos. Your crappie are so aggressive. Its incredible to watch. I catch plenty of crappie but so many just follow and not bite. I would love to come to Mississippi and just catch and release. I would love it if you could recommend a good lake to come fish!! Keep up the good work. Love your videos!!

Excellent video and thank you for showing us how you approach treetops. Here in south Louisiana we fish the achafalaya basin for crappie and there's plenty of natural cover. The fish you catch look like they get plenty to eat. Ours are generally a little smaller, but we still catch some slabs. Thanks too for the tip on the ugly stick.

Great job man, do you use spot lock to hold you on brush. My motor is about 2015 model and doesn’t hold me in place very well

I use it in the wind. It is the .inn Kota Terrrova. If I had it to do over, I would have gotten the Ultrex. Much better responsiveness. It is hard to chase fish with the Terrova. But it does a good job in heavy wind. Hope that helps. TIGHT LINES!!

I know you are familiar with this lake, but on an unfamiliar lake, how would you search for brush poles and fish? Also, looks like you catch mostly black crappie. Is there a way to target one species over another, i.e. fish brush for blacks, more open water for whites?

I would start with side scan set to 75 feet and start looking for brush piles, preferably with fish! Then I break out the LiveScope and go to town. If I am scanning with LiveScope, I set my forward range to 75 -100 feet, then Zoom in when I get closer to see if there are any fish. My lake is about 80-90% black crappie. Ross Barnett Reservoir, which is in this area, is mostly white crappie. In general, white crappie tend to go after bigger baits. Not really sure how to target each species specifically. A couple of them broke. I bought the 10-foot Carbon Crappie by Ugly Stik and it is awesome. Great backbone, sensitive tip, great reel seat, and less expensive than ACC Crappie Stick. They sell them at Wal Mart. TIGHT LINES!!
