nope, not China. I checked for the type of Truck it was in the clip, and it's a Mack truck. brands like Mack are not popular in Asia. They have many of their own heavy duty Truck brands. definitely somewhere in North America.

Getting burned when grease spatters isn't unusual, but flinging water off your wet hand into hot grease is just...well let's say it's something MOST people would know not to do. But teaching people to cook, which is what I think she was doing, while not knowing how to put out a simple grease fire is just ridiculous. And then hollering for help knowing that no one watching can help shows a complete lack of awareness, which is frankly the cause of every problem that she had. People like that are actually a danger to society.

Couple of points of advice for you cooks out there; always have a top ready to cover a kitchen fire and NEVER put it in your sink. Grease fires are accelerated with water. Also, don’t preheat the pan for things like olive oil. That’ll start an instant fire. Cook safely!
