I recently finished the Abigail baby blanket and I’m feeling cable confident! And I have plenty of light cotton. This looks gorgeous 🙏🏽

I love this pattern so far. It is neat the way you incorporate cables and yet keep this piece light enough for Spring and Summer wear. I’m looking forward to the next 3 videos.😊

Very nice to see cables in summer wear. Thank you! I might use the pattern for a scarf: thin yarn, smaller hook and obviously just one rectangle.

Hi Bonnie I Have never tried front and back post crochets Want to try I love the v stitch looks hard but looks can be deceiving I may give it a go or try a different cotton yarn. I have the caboo cotton yarn from lion brand.

wondering how many skeins of yarn to purchase to make this

Here's the information you need: 8 hanks of Cascade Yarns UltraPima Fine (100% Pima Cotton, 50 g/1.75 oz, 136.7 yds/125 m) in #3814 Camelia Rose, size G (or 6/4.00 mm) and F (or 5/3.75 mm) crochet hooks (or sizes needed for gauge), upholstery needle for hiding loose strands.

To make it wider what would be the multiple sts, or just leave chain count as is and go up in hook size as you suggested. Thanks for sharing its beautiful. Hope to ginish also can iy be done eith 4ply, still learning yarn after these many years ❤
@BonnieBayCrochet Жыл бұрын
You can work more rows to make this wider, although it will fit a wide rage of sizes as is.

Can I use a different size yarn and hook?
@BonnieBayCrochet Жыл бұрын
Absolutely! You do want to stay within the parameters of the sizing to get a good fit.

Hey Bonnie, you said this would go up to a size XL, could you possibly say what the measurements of your one is please, I'm wondering if maybe I'd need to go up to a 4.5mm hook size as im on the bigger side of a UK XL and i don't want to go through making this to find out it's too small. Thank you
@BonnieBayCrochet Жыл бұрын
Here are the dimensions of each panel: Each panel approximately 17” wide X 29” long. you can make this wider and longer if needed. Upsizing your hook will also be an option.

@crochetwithcindy Жыл бұрын
The US hook size is G/6. The millimeter size is 4mm. If you Google crochet hook size chart it might help better understand how hooks are sized.

I wish I can see what you made. It’s all to close up. I see the picture indicating what you’re going to make, but I’m sorr. I can’t see very well. If maybe you could show the whole thing front and back or just model it .🥰🙏

Yes, I would do it differently now Sandy. I filmed these back in 2017 when I was learning about filming and all. There are photos of this on the pattern link (in video description).😊
