How did you vent the AC unit through the tent wall? Also, how did you drain the condensate? Also, what size tarp did you use?
@ReelLifeWithMike Жыл бұрын
The vent went under the skirt as well as the condensation line. I believe the tarp was a 20x20ft

Nutimik is a beautiful campsite. I haven't fished there but I've heard just past Blueberry Hill can be decent for bass.

I’ll have to keep that in mind. It is now in my book of places to fish lol

I appreciate this review. I was wondering if this would work in summer and with rain. Thank you. Was it sturdy?
@ReelLifeWithMike2 жыл бұрын
It was super sturdy. We put a tarp over with the rain. It is still a cloth style tent. But other then the heat it was really good

How is the Eskimo for leaking? I understand they're not meant to be waterproof but will they tolerate any water at all?
@ReelLifeWithMike Жыл бұрын
Not the best. It is ok for a drizzle but anything more it’ll Come through the seams

What are you using for a rain fly?
@ReelLifeWithMike4 ай бұрын
Actually it was just a tarp lol. But we have upgraded since to an actual rain fly from a camping store.

Not with regular camping but we’ve been in some pretty serious wind during the winter ones.

Does bug come into the tent ?
@ReelLifeWithMike Жыл бұрын
Yup the bottom is open so I’m sure they can. We dident find it bad though

This one is insulated right, will the non insulated one work too?
@ReelLifeWithMike2 жыл бұрын
I think the non insulated may work better as the material is a bit more waterproof. The insulated is water resistant but there is still a cloth layer to it

Are (hub style tents) generally not water proof?

They are somewhat but I dident want it drenched. I’ll be trying it again this summer and I’ll let ya know

@@ReelLifeWithMike Thanks. I am trying to locate a used tent (Shappell WH6500) that I can trade for. I really need some form of an 'instant' tent so I can still camp w/o so much set-up work.

@@psfphotography I am actually looking at a gazelle T4 Overland edition camping tent for summer. it is a hub style as well check it out. I mean this one is for summer only of course.

At this time there was severe drought and high chances of Forrest fires. They don’t want people going as then don’t know if they could save them In time.
