SUMMER CHINOOK SALMON FISHING IN BRITISH COLUMBIA | OUTDOOR REFUGE

Spent the last few weeks of summer float fishing for chinook in southern British Columbia. I mainly used roe and pink hard beads. I had to put in some long hard days but its always a good day on the water.

That was one of THE BEST fish plays and landings that I have ever seen!! Couldn't tell you are not a highly skilled angler. I always say, " Each 1...Teach 1". Tight lines!!

Good job man! Heard your message at the end, and I totally relate. I'm new to fishing as well, and it seemed intimidating at first with all the things you need to know, but like you said, people are generally helpful. Once you get past that, it's an amazing hobby that you can get to share with other like minded people. Being out there in nature, by the river, is a blessing by itself. I use a go pro 9 black and all the talking head is just my phone. First fish on roe and the second one on red wool.
