I have the big cloche from Decor Steals and I love it. I have an abounded bird nest and eggs in it. I have also bought several different sizes from Amazon. Loved this video and the ending was beautiful!! Thank you for showing easy common sense decorating. Happy 4th! God bless the USA.🇺🇸

Hi Ann! I think you may have paid me the highest compliment by saying "easy common sense decorating." That's definitely my goal! So many times I look at Instagram, and I'm like - my house could never look like that. I don't have a giant entryway and soaring ceilings, etc. And I don't have the budget to buy new trendy decor every week. But then I remember that a lot of people are like me in that way- and it's okay. A small home can still be inviting too. I'm glad you liked the ending as well! I would take the smaller flag from the cardboard house and stick it in the vase on your hutch. And put the large flag from the vase on the hutch and put it in the giant planter on the hearth next to the cardboard house. I think it would give then more balance.

All your little touches of red, white, and blue are so pretty and yes you are right you can use a lot of the flags instead of buying a lot of decor. I need to go through mine and donate some. My home is just to small for all that I have. Yours looks so pretty. I love the prints, they are so pretty. I wish I was smart enough to do have them printed out, but I'm not. The wreath you bought is so pretty, I love it. I still use my old grapevine wreath with some florals and a bow, I have so much of that stuff. That wreath is so very pretty. Rachel did you use the rocking horse last year? I need to watch your video because I don't remember. Your front porch looks so inviting and ready to sit and enjoy yourself with a cold glass of tea, or a warm cup of tea. Rachel your dress you had on was so cute, you looked absolutely beautiful. I loved the bit about the air conditioner, I think we as women can make due with what we have. Most of the time men cannot when it comes to comfort. Mine can't any way. Hi Daphne! It's always a delight to hear from you! Thanks for being such a sweet friend! I bought that little rocking horse from Hobby Lobby a few years ago. I can't remember when, but I don't remember seeing it lately. I did use it last year too in my hutch. I wasn't sure if the dress was over the top. Haha. But it's nice and cool for summer. I just usually wear such bright things, but I'm trying to branch out a bit with my wardrobe. 😊 Now I need to ask you what branch of the military your dad was in. My dad served 20 years in the navy reserves. He was full time for a short while as well, buy fortunately, he never had to be in combat. Yes! Men can be such babies when it comes to being "uncomfortable." Imagine if they even had to wear a bra. It wouldn't happen now, would it? 😜 Thanks for watching and leaving a kind comment again! It only notifies me about first comments, but never ones after that. Fortunately, I thought to double check your comment outside the app since I knew I asked about your dad. Your dad was in the army and mine in the navy. But now for a time, my dad was in (what I believe to be) a section of the army that is no longer in existence. They called it the Seabees. I'm not sure if I spelled that correctly. Not sure if you ever heard of that. I would have liked to marry a military man, but very few men in my generation went into the military. No complaints though. I have a good husband. My father in law served in Vietnam and didn't want either of his sons to go. He saw a lot of the worst part of the war and also was affected by agent orange. I hope you have a blessed week my friend! ❤😊

They have sales almost every week (a code you put in that they advertise on the Walgreens site- usually it's at least 30 percent or more off) I did a video a few months ago showing how to buy them from Etsy, upload them into your computer and then have them sent to Walgreens. Hopefully, you have a Walgreens by you. If you have any problems doing it, just let me know. It's a little confusing at first but I know you can figure it out.
