@@evanbuhr534 That's what I was thinking. As a mainly bank fisherman, I get in the mud/dirt/sand a lot. While any soil would wash off with ease, it just seems like too much of a hassle for me. Either way the combo looks reallyyyy cool!

I have an Abu veritas rod that is my go to for pitching into reeds. I’m short, and it’s short, it’s the only rod that gives me enough power to stick the hook. I’ve tried much more expensive rods but keep coming back to the veritas.

Just a thought when you ran into that nursery did you throw any jerk bait? A few times now that I’ve found them on drop shots like you did but then switch to either crank or jerk but mainly jerk bait when a school gets fired up. Bigger fish. Just a thought. Keep up the great fishing!
