The banjo video is a few years old Summer is now in a band called Holy Locust. Different direction but wonderful stuff. They have a CD called Fever Dream with is amazing.

@@heidinewman9335 If you can, will you please tell summer how much her music has possitively affected me? Well, i mean just a person in general, not trying to introduce myself, just want her to know someone holds her talent and music in very high regard. I have been covering taingled in ropes so much lately that my friends want to kill me....but i just cant stop singing it. I have been so captured by this song that i have been showing it to everyone i know, they are coming to my city soon on tour, and i am going to try and get as many people to go as possible.

@@heidinewman9335 I really dont like meeting my heros, but maybe. I actually wanted to gift them some gift cards to try out some of the food in my city of Buffalo. We have excellent places to eat. But i dont know how long they will be there or if they are vegan or vegetarian? I might just contact them on facebook so i can get it right. I would love to show them some appreciation. we are a very hospitable folk here in buffalo.

summer newman plays in a band called holy locust! however it has a much different sound and she plays guitar / does vocals. she has also released an album under the name 'bellringers' and theres an album called 'the summer newman tape' released on bandcamp! you can also find music / covers shes posted on her channel :)

Gotta say that when old time and bluegrass women play guitar or banjo on KZbin they dress like regular people. The women playing heavy metal guitar and related music seem to dress like supermodels and sports illustrated covers. IMHO
