Summer Evening Plane Spotting at Manchester Airport - 90 Minutes long

I thought for a change I'd visit Manchester and do an evening there as all I've ever done for Manchester videos is morning stuff, so this was a welcoming change. It was nice to see the evening action on 23L and it was quite an eventful evening to say the least. To begin with there was a closure of Runway 23R which prompted 23L to remain open after 8pm (Usually after 8pm the airport goes to single runway use of 23R), and gave for some rare captures of aircraft landing on 23L and having to backtrack the runway to vacate. In addition there was a Ryanair 737 which had aborted its take off due to windshear (So im told). That added to the airports delays but was certainly interesting to see
This was also filmed on one of the warmest days in the UK so far this year, and lots of aircraft were likewise heading to warm destinations, some of which were even cooler than in the UK. (It reached 30 degrees in Manchester on this day, but up to 38 in other places)
Not as many widebodies in the evening at Manchester Airport, as most of them had departed bound for the Americas. However those operating to the East were still present including a Saudia 787, PIA 777, Oman Air 787, Emirates A380 and a brand new Etihad 787. In addition to these beauties we also saw aircraft such as a FedEx 757, an ASL Ireland ATR 72-200F, TUI 767 and 757s, some Jet2 757's and a good variety of special liveries including the Brussels Airlines Tomorrowland livery.

Beautiful setting for plane spotting. Very pretty scenery around the airport. High quality video and outstanding camera location .love your close up. We can actually see the air crews on the flight deck. This is Casey at it's best. Complements from scoring hot Henderson, Nevada.
