Thanks for sharing your pictures and those gorgeous fabrics. Love that bag you are going to make. I quite like that lining fabric you selected because the white background inside the bag will be more reflective when searching for items that inevitably fall to the bottom. Bag might be perfect for next year’s vacation 😊.

All lovely fabric. Enjoy your back to school cocktail party 🎉. Can’t wait to see you make the bag , red coat and fuchsia skirt. That pink fabric at the opening of the video is so nice. Glad you had fun in Spain.

Alex, you have been missed, but I am so happy you got to Spain. Oh, the beautiful fabrics you brought back I can not wait to see the fabrics made up. Alex, I love the red coat pattern with the pocket detail.

@@marylusk8287 Isn’t it pretty?! I need to see if I can find some wool in this color. Missed you too Mary! I hope you have stayed busy this summer.

Your fabrics are absolutely beautiful! I look forward to seeing your sew alongs. They are so helpful! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I bought more fabric this summer because the prices were so good. So now I have a stash for next Spring and Summer. I went through my current stash and donated fabric to charity to make room for my Fall and Winter purchases. Thanks again for your videos. You are easy to understand and I can follow your instructions so well.

Oooo, looks good! I love the prints you got. FWIW, 40 to 42 degC is equivalent to 105 to 108 degF approx! Good luck keeping the kids alive until school starts!

Yip it was that hot! I got the picture of the temperature to prove it. Dressed mostly in cottons, linens and got on board with the Spanish ladies and got myself a handheld fan ... and just sucked it up. I had a great time!

I have completely stopped buying patterns from the Big Five. My husband got me a subscription to Burda in English that comes to my mailbox every month. Not only do I get a whole load of patterns each month, but the magazine is inspiring with interesting ideas for styling your pieces and fabric suggestions and usually spotlights a designer either working in fashion or in textile. I really enjoy it and they do a great job of having seasonal designs in each magazine.

@@johncarroll8049 They have some really great patterns, I love their styling too. I just wished the magazine came with a QR Code that you could download the patterns from the website vs. all that tracing. It’s just not good for my vertigo.

Beautiful, but I would have liked to know the fabric content

I'm fairly certain the pink fabric with the flowers has to be a polyester or a mix of polyester and something else.... same with the one with the fuchsia and black/white flowers. Everything else is cotton. There was no labels on the bolts... sucks but that is the gamble you take when shopping for fabric in another country. I'm ok with that. The most pricey fabrics were the Liberty Fabrics.
