Thanks for the reviews! I love hearing your take on these collections and longer, descriptive videos are my fave. ❤️ Surf Shop first came out in 2021 in the summer collection with Ice Cream Bar and Kiwi Starfruit Cooler. I agree that this version smells somewhat sweeter and yes, maybe fruitier, though there’s no fruit note mentioned in the listed fragrance notes then, either. Good question as to what it might be! The raspberry candle is a Raspberry Mimosa repackage. It was first released in late summer 2020 in the plain White Barn core packaging (same collection as when Sparkling Pear Riesling returned) and has been coming out pretty consistently since. The scent notes for it are: “sweet raspberries, rosé sorbet and a splash of champagne”. To me it smells like raspberry sorbet (or sherbet, even) and I think it’s great! There’s almost a creaminess to the tartness which evokes sorbet and I don’t think it’s effervescent, either. I like a good fruity candle, though, lol. ☺️💕👌 Kent mentioned that the Summer Rose Bud might be a Riviera Petals repackage from last year?

Yes surf shop came out a few years ago in cuter packaging. I laughed outloud when you said that packaging is like ok here for the kids 😂 that's so exciting to hear about a destination collection! I loved when they would do those and then stopped and now more companies are doing that theme so maybe they realized they need to bring it back! 🤗

I love burning florals in Spring as well as here and there throughout the Summer. We're getting hit with chilly/rainy weather where I live at so I've been reaching for a lot of dewy/aquatic scents. Both Surf Shop & Sea Salt & Sails are reuturning scents 💙. The info from your source is nice to know! It seems BBW always cuts Summer short after SAS. I am so glad you grabbed Palo Santo & Vanilla!! Yes to Palo Santo & Pumpkin & Palo Santo Sands! Summer Rose Bud reminds me of Riviera Petals from last Summer. Great haul & cold sniffs 😊.

Your descriptions are right on. Raspberry Rose smelled like raspberry jam with a splash on rose water. Palo Santo Vanilla is amazing! I finally got my hands on it and immediately bought two. It's so good... The tonka blends so well with the palo santo making it a little sweet but not too much. It's my new number one favourite along with Palo Santo Sage and Vanilla Birch. I agree we need a coconut vanilla palo santo with some sandalwood. Pumpkin Palo Santo would be great too. The Oceanside Lavender is nice but I passed since I don't reach for lavender candles a lot. Thanks for the review!❤

I agree that august is still a summer month. However that’s my favorite month for summer boardwalk, apple, Carmel, carnival type scents. It’s the perfect end to summer for me!!

I am with you as a seasonal candle burner. I hold off on true summer scents until June and also burn them through the end of August/ mid-September due to the heat in my region. I am not a huge floral fan, so I burn my linen scents and some dewy/spa scents in the spring. Enjoyed the video as usual!😊

I am not a steadfast seasonal burner. Today is cool, rainy and damp so I chose Summer Boardwalk which has a rich sweetness that warmed the space. This is the first time I’m burning this one and I’m happy to say that there is no obvious apple note. If it is there, it is just a supporting crisp note. I’m not a fan of apple scents and I don’t get that at all in this year’s Summer Boardwalk. I’m not a huge fan of coconut scents, but a great one is Coconut Pina Colada. It’s surprisingly not fruity sweet. Thanks for a great preview! You ‘may’ have sold me on the Raspberry Rose. I lingered on it in store and just felt like it wouldn’t be one that I’d reach for. I’ll sniff it again next sale. Maybe.😏

Nice haul. I'm slated to get Palo Santo Vanilla tomorrow at BBW at the mall, since there are two locations near me. I'm a seasonal burner, so anything coconut is burned strictly in the Summer. Summer to me is June, July, and August and all those typical "Summer" scented candles like aquatic ocean, tropical floral, coconut, passionfruit, mango, watermelon, sandy scents, etc. Six Yankee candles will be burned: Home Inspiration Paradise Found, Beach Walk, Midsummer's Night, Mediterranean Breeze, Life's A Breeze, Home Classics Island Getaway. I like to burn one candle from each brand that I have, for example, I'll burn Yankee's Midsummer's Night then Goose Creek's Hibiscus Fruit Punch. I just re-smelled Surf Shop earlier today lol. I like it on cold. Raspberry Rosay smells good on cold. BBW to burn in the Summer: Vanilla Coconut Surf, Coconut Pina Colada, Fiji White Sands, Palo Santo, Sedona Sandstone, Bali Rainforest, Blue Icelandic Waters. I might do some more. Also, I'll be burning Kringle's Fiji in a medium jar.

I'm a seasonal burner also...burning my florals in May...will start my "summer" scents end of May (Memorial day weekend)...my grandlittles come and they're ready for my summer decorations (they love turtles🐢)...EXCEPT...when I get new candles...I can't wait and I want to try them (Homeworx Harvest Leaves 🍁) that I got last week 🤣...burning "Cherry Blossom Soju"❤️

Summer Boardwalk was sold out this morning on line in Canada🤣. They just added it back.I do have a soft spot for that one it was one of my first BBW 3 wicks ever. I like burning it in late August early September. It can still be hot here but the nights usually are a little crisper You keep getting me outside my box so thank you for that.

I bought sux candles yesterday. One of which was Roasted Sesame. I went back this morning and got a back up. Have you tried Bronzed Sunset? I bought two last year. I love this candle. Unfortunately, my store doesn't have it in, yet.

Bronzed Sunset is actually really close to Santorini Coast, although I do like it marginally better on-cold than Santorini. Haven’t burned it yet!
