We grew up in a tobacco farming area . My mother would work in the tobacco feilds and she would grade tobacco. I would help her sometimes in the school holidays. This brings back memories.

Sad story of what can happen when two people use no restraint, and let their feelings of lust take precedence over the spouse and children. When baby was burnt while the two were cavorting about should have shook a little sense into her head....but the allure of the forbidden was too strong for weak willed scalawags. Although she did not actually kill her husband, responsibility will always come to haunt her reality.

What a disappointing ending. What Jack did was dumb and never an option. Despite their love, did he really expect she could ever accept what he did? There should have been another way. They both should have been honest and tell Aaron how they felt and work towards a solution. Not this mess.

The story and plot is good. It could've been made alot better or do I remake of this film and really improve where it falls flat in this original, which is alot. Personally I like this film. I think it was well acted, it needed some real umph!

Loneliness, husband not interested and still thinking about another woman he dated in 8th grade, and then he invited a hot guy to come live there? Idk...seems like she had some help making "wrong" choices. How about the man who hit on her, slept with his benefactor's wife? No accountability there? That accident with the baby could have happened to anyone. Especially when women had so much more work to do during those times, while watching the children. You'all love bashing women. The stone -age called, it wants its attitude back. :)
