Haha sometimes I think these girls forget that Ja'mie is being played by a male. Thats how good Chris Lilley is.
@accountuser55886 жыл бұрын
You didn't fucking understand what I meant. I know they're actors but what I'm trying to say is that he stays in character so well that it sometimes slips their minds that he's a male. Nothing hard there to understand dude.
@accountuser55886 жыл бұрын
That is exactly why I said, "I think", meaning judging by Chris Lilley's acting skills, the girls MIGHT for just a couple seconds forget he's a man and not a female.

2:05 "take a fucking pill Kaitlyn and fuck off" LOL I think these were Ja'mie's best set of friends. Her year 11 friends were boring and her private school girl friends were too stuck up. These Summer Heights girls were the right middle for Ja'mie.
@jesseleeward87497 жыл бұрын
It's cause they are grounded working glass girls and he others are supposed to be over privileged private school airheads. The whole show runs on that stereotype (all three is fact)

Old comment but your right. While these girls were still the popular girls, mostly for their looks and having a semi “mean girl” attitude, they were also still from working class families and were grounded enough to be more empathetic and human then what Ja’mie was. Her year 11 friends didn’t get much screen time mostly due to the fact Ja’mie was sharing the show with many other characters and her year 12 friends were all basically interchangeable besides Maddison. They were just too similar to Ja’mie with less dialogue, and because of that they didn’t ever really offer much to work off. These girls while they were nice enough to ja’mie and served as friends all had backbones and personalities and even after they forgave her, still had no issue standing against her. Probably one of the reasons Ja’mie dumped them so quickly, and the fact that they had a class difference.

What is wrong with todays society, how can they not understand that Chris Lilley is taking the piss out of people that engage in negative stereotypes ! its absolutely baffling. To mock the idea of a narcissistic white private school girl of whom regularly attacks people in a racist manner etc. People do not want to admit that in the era this show released we all went to school with girls and boys exactly like Ja'mie and it was legends like Chris Lilley that called these people out and showed how ridiculous their pathetic behaviour was !! I still and always will love you Chris your a comedic genius and genuinely kind hearted person who does not deserve the way the industry is not treating you at all. Frankly it really pisses me off.
