The burning sucks harder than most of your awful comments.
@thomasffrench36396 ай бұрын
Sleepaway Camp is so overrated. It’s not bad, but the campiness really makes it not that scary, and it’s not well made enough to be good. There’s so many other better directed, written, and acted slashers that get overshadowed, such as The Burning which has a lower critic score. And it’s just because it’s different. Not because the merits of the filmmaking, but the weirdness and the interesting things it has to say. I put quality before everything else and it can be frustrating. But honestly the thing about bullying and abuse has a lot of merit to it. Most films general can be read into, and analysis of even the shallowest of horror films can be really fun. I get frustrated whenever people dismiss it if I’m being honest. Sleepaway Camp might not be good, but it does have a lot to say.
