Seeing Lindsay and how she was with Austen, and Ciara and in season 1 and 2, Danielle was too good a friend. Lindsay cares about Lindsay. Carl is a mess, he wants a voice and she won’t let him, this will not last. and when it ends, Danielle let her be with the people who they thought were most important to her when she turned her back on you. You lost nothing

I've been re-watching this show again to get a better perspective because the first time around most of my focus was disliking Kyle and really feeling bad for Amanda, and honestly, I didn't like Lindsay all that much (who I very much like now after a second view of it). Now with fresh eyes and re-watching it especially because I was dealing with taking care of my very ill mother around 4 and onward, I see Danielle a lot differently especially in S4. S4 is very disturbing her attitude towards Carl and Lindsay, not being supportive at all, and then, she was making out with him KNOWING he was only doing that to hurt Lindsay (he announced it at that table on purpose), and what did Lindsay do, turn a blind eye and say, oh, they are just make out even though she knew it was betrayal. I'm only on 4 right now and pausing because seeing Danielle not only during that season but then at that reunion and then thinking about how she was not at all apologetic towards her best friend is an eye-opener for me. I see a lot of how quickly Danielle turned on Lindsay, and the show wanted Lindsay to go off and lose it and LOSE Danielle for good IMHO, but Lindsay didn't do that. IDK I lost respect for Danielle that season. She didn't care about Carl's sobriety, she didn't care about Lindsay, and she just seemed pretty obsessed with him and wanting him back regardless of the circumstances. These past few episodes she's already acting strange about Carl/Lindsay IMHO first saying she didn't want to sleep in their bed (which I'm sure maid service comes in and changes the sheets), but you can FEEL her tension towards them building, and she just needed someone to take an already weakened Danielle (app hasn't launched, long distance with Danielle, Carl maybe finally moving on for real this time) to bring out that side of her again as easily as it happened in S4. S4 Danielle is weak no doubt about it, and S7 Danielle is the same person, so she can say, oh, I'm not that weak but she is. I think her love for Lindsay is conditional, and by accident I saw a clip last night where she told Paige something Lindsay told her in confidence in another season, and what did Lindsay do, she forgave Danielle AGAIN. Danielle acts like she's the best friend in the world, but her friendship seems to be based on don't go near Carl or wanting attention from the other women, and when Lindsay and Carl ended up dating, all bets were off. I wonder how much this so-called wanting to be close to them again coincided with the show being renewed TBH, and I also think Danielle has always been desperate to feel wanted by the Mean Girls of this show because as referenced above, she was trying to push her way in and was willing to lose Lindsay over it already in another season. I am sad for Lindsay that she's going to be ganged up and bullied this season. I have major PTSD from being bullied at a workplace just for shallow reasons (hate even talking about it because that pain never goes away) on their part my looks, how young I appeared to them, my good relationship with my boss even insinuating I got my job based on sleeping with him, my relationship with my fiance, the way I dressed, you name it, and THAT is a VERY lonely place to be. I don't wish it on ANYONE much less someone who is supposed to in a VERY happy place, and Danielle is going to rob Lindsay of that moment. It sickens me. I hope this plays out differently than I think it will, but after seeing S4, I think I already see it coming a mile away.

I really have learned to love Danielle in the past couple of years, she is truly beautiful inside and out. She has always been outspoken….and good for her! Lindsey can manipulate….and does so….even though I have a very soft spot for her and Carl❤. But “kerfuffles” happen in friendship….and prayers they are able to rectify their friendship! Lindsey can be what my Daddy used to say…..”seldom wrong but never in doubt” type of person.And I hope Danielle finds someone special in her life!❤
