Hi there, I own an Italian Vineyard and, while the in-game crop isn't completely accurate (understandably, its a game after all!) it would be more realistic if you put any future vine rows closer together, in real life the tractors are a perfect fit between the rows.

Work as vineyard machinery operator in nz, rows vary in widths here between 1.8 to 3m wide. Rows on here look fine. Alot more work through year needed though to get a good crop.

Daggerwin, you said you don't listen to the sound while you're recording, but I hope you're hearing it in your offline gameplay. The sounds in this new version are amazing. In a previous episode, you mentioned that you can't hear the sound shortly before dumping a trailer and all of us in the audience got to hear the various bangs and other noises from the trailer door, etc. In the beginning of this video, when you jumped into the combine, you switched to first person view. Even in first person, the rumble of the combine changed when you drove out of the shed (you could hear the echo of the shed walls). It's simply delightful to hear these new sounds after playing FS19 for so long.

So dagger I have a suggestion, I'll be honest tho I got this idea from watching chainsaws FS22. When you lease a piece of equipment and you paid for an hour and only need it for a small amount of time you could take it and use it for a job before returning it if you can get it before the hourly payment that is. That way you get your money's worth for leasing and you can make a little extra from the job because you won't have to pay the fee to borrow the equipment. Also Loving the FS22 series can't wait to see a survival challenge and the co-op let's play with chainsaw!

It’s the grass headlands you missed not the crop. If you fertilise before cultivating you can then cultivate, seed, then fertilise again and get it all done before the crop even starts to grow Lots of love Ps you still have all those strawbs to sell

My wife and I used to holiday in the south of France. Lots of grape vines and wineries, especially in Provence! A common feature at the end of each row of vines was a rose bush! When we asked why we were told it was pest prevention. Apparently bugs auch as greenfly, blackfly, etc. prefer to eat rose rather than grape vine. So if the farmer found pests on the rose bush he could either spray that to prevent it spreading, or just uproot and burn the rose bush - and the pests! Maybe we will get a rose bush mod?

hey mate, here's a tip for mowing, spraying, or harvesting for that matter... when you have a field that needs to be covered completely, you can work the field by creating headlands for turning by going around the field twice (so circling the field while mowing or spraying whatever. this gives you enough room for turning around in the field on the up and down runs that remain. if that makes sense

Nice series. Think you may have spread yourself to thin trying to do many things at once and with limited funds. Speaking of... Why don't you borrow some money from the bank when the items pop up in the discount store? If it is a piece of equipment you really want, borrowing money from the bank is a viable option, and one you haven't done yet. Might be better than re-leasing the same equipment over and over again. Just looking at your canola field. Every cultivating push up more rocks it seem, so the stone picker is a given on any farm. Then the mower since you're doing grass on one field. I think the interest rate on the loans are better than leasing fees. Plus you can pay the loan back in installments.

If you are dead set on selling a tractor to move the game along further, I would suggest the combine. You are going to upgrade it anyways, and you only use it a couple of times a "year". I think leasing a combine is more cost effective. That being said, I think contracts would be a better way to move things along. Doing more contracts in between jobs on your farm would lend to a better cash flow; especially the quick fertilizer jobs.

Something I’ve always wanted is to be able to switch your mini map in the corner so that you could see what you have fertilized and all that instead of having to switch into the pause menu every time to check if your covering certain spots. I can’t wait for the day we get real working gps monitors with the color coded lines and colors based yield percentages and all that.

There was such a mod for FS17. Sadly it did not appear for FS19, not sure why. Of course FS19 had 'Precision Farming' mod which used the mini map for similar indications. Do hope we get it for FS22!

I'm enjoying fs22, just not the harvest contracts at the moment. Harvest contracts aren't having enough crop to finish the contracts. Might just be the fact I'm on ps4 pro. There's still flickering on this map. Erlengrat has changed a bit. Government subsidies mod is available for those who are interested in that mod

Hi, I've noticed on FS22 when you lease something it does not give the complete breakdown of the leasing details as on FS19. There is no mention of the amount you are charged after the first hour or day. So to help things along I've done the calculations based on the FS19 values which are the same on both games. Example A Mower priced at £18,000, Lease cost £918 per day = 918 x 19.5% = £179 per hour = 918 x 41% = £376.38 ( this is how the calculator shows it ). Take the value up to the Dec.point only £376. This works the same if calculating in 1,000s. Just take the whole lease value eg 2345 NOT 2,345 then do the calculation as above. The values are Approx. to the real listed value but give a good idea.

I tend to play on the American Maps for Farm Simulator, but the Starter Farms for the American Map in this game, as well as the Equipment Yard, is just so small. This map seems to offer pretty good stuff to start you out with.
