I ‘m surprised they didn’t mention the 5 button footswitch . Unless it had not been released at the time this video was made . One of the features of this amp is a boost in db’s available on the clean or OD sections …by way of the 5 button footswitch

Loren Molinare has been with Blackstar/Korg USA for awhile now he is an A&R rep that man knows more people(artist) in the business than you can imagine. His job is not to know the gear his job is to connect artist to the brand he works for cause the artist will test drive the product. Loren does need to know all the in and outs about the products. You people on here just look like a bunch arse holes shitting on a nice guy. Ok dummies the A&R rep works with the artist and the Product rep lets people know about the product. Bet when they wanted to shoot the video the product rep was not around and Loren was left holding the bag. You people are so cool shitting on people!!!

A local music store became a distributor for BLACKSTAR several years ago. I haven't found a good reason to spring for one. They ain't got it. I own several Fender, Vox & Marshall's. Some tube and some solid state. They should take a tip from Fender. I haven't heard the Tone Master yet, but, I'll bet they are the wave of the future. If I want American sound I use Fender. If I want a Brit sound I use Marshall or Vox and if I need both, I have a A-B pedal. But mostly, the songs I play determine what kind of amp I use. PLUS TOO MANY DAMN KNOBS!!! Ever get a close look at a '50's Fender Tweed Champ? CASE CLOSED.

The guy from Blackstar, looks like an older Garth of Waynes World. I don't think he knows his product, he is doing it on the fly - Sean is trying to help the guy plug it. Guitar playing is pretty damn good. Quite a variety of good sounds from amp.

agreed. price very nice. wish it had a "halfway" power attention at like 20 watts. 40 watts, 20 watts and 2 watts wouldve been perfect. i love el34 tubes matched with vintage 30s. The 6l6....Im not sure if that eminance speaker is the way to go or celestion gold back!! i already have the ht60...id have to hear this in person before buying it and it would have to superceed the ht60 i have now in some way

One of the worst demos I've seen in a while. I know more about that amp than the rep. Blackstar does make great amps, but I'm surprised the rep even know the website, much less than anything about the amp itself. Thanks for helping me decide to get an Orange amp!

Not really - not for a valve combo. Check the Marshall 20w Studio Combo's or what about the PT15 a 15w head for $2800. How much is a Fender 40w Twin? If you want the MT15 and matching Cab - a 15w 2 Channel valve head and MAP will be around $800 still cheaper than the Marshall 20w studio Amps...

What's the wattage got to do with it? The power wars ended years ago when everyone got fed up with being told to turn down at gigs. Unless you play stadiums you don't need a 'big' amp. And if you do then they have something called 'monitoring'. It's complicated - you have to tell someone how much of each instrument you want to hear. But since you haven't grasped the idea of language ie rules that everyone follows so that we can all understand what each other are saying then why would you grasp something like value?

Not dialed in that well or mic'd that well. I got to play one of these, and they definitely have warmed up the amp and cleaned up a lot of the fizzy distortion that the older model has. Still not everyone's cup of tea, but I was surprised.
