I have a strat and the black and blue version of that amp. It's got a vintage 30 and 6l6s instead of el34. Nicest sounding amp and guitar Ive owned in 20 years of playing. It's crazy loud. Could easily get cops called on you in a residential neighborhood. It's awesome

@@hha9527 the mark 2 sounds even better but, there was a video agsinst a Marshall. ..not sure which one but, the Marshall seemed cleaner even though they were similer. Sometimes first impression ..wow this is great then after a bit, either something is actually not as good as you thought or perhaps because its not sounding they way you would like. Liik at a place like guitar center and check out how many used amps and guitars. ..something changed those peoples minds where they traded the equipment in. Music equipment sometimes can be disappointing.

That is a very nice amp. I nearly bought one, in fact I went to buy it when I was waiting for my sales guy I checked out a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. My sales guy was a jerk and started to bitch about how he makes no money on Fender Amps. I felt so bad I left and I bought my friends perfect made in The USA HRD and love that amp.
