What are some of your 'must do' tasks in getting ready for the new school year?

Yes, I always bookmark so many things online of things that I want to look into for my kids. That's such a great tip!

Love that you mentioned going through screenshots and bookmarked ideas saved. I end up with tons of those, but I don’t typically go back and review what I’ve saved! Sounds simple to make that a task for a planning checklist, but I never thought of it. Thanks for the helpful idea.

My biggest ‘must do’ to prep for the new school year is get our life routines (chores, schedules, etc) for the school year fully established BEFORE we start the full homeschool schedule in the fall. It’s almost impossible for me to establish a school routine AND life routines to go with it, simultaneously, after two months of camping, sleeping in, late nights, and all the other fun stuff that comes with summer 😊

I sort my records thru out the yr and at the beginning of the year I start the records!!! I need to start habits in all My kids with respecting the space we are staying at!!! I use my own digital planner and use different pages that help me plan!!! My homeschool planner is in my catch all planner!!!

Where do you find a list for basing your checklist off of? Like say for kindergarten

I didn't create my checklist off of anything else...just based on what I felt I needed to accomplish. Or do you mean, more of a checklist for the skills needed to be accomplished by each grade? For that I would go to something like the 'Homeschooling Year by Year' book. Sorry if this doesn't answer your question...I wasn't quite sure what exactly you're asking for...

I don't really have one site I get them. I kinda just search around on google until I find one that I like the set up of. :)
