I've watched (or attempted to watch) several KZbin videos now on how to prune summer-fruiting raspberries. Most of the videos were long and overwhelming and confused me more than helped me. Bob, you were concise while being specific, and I now feel quite confident to dive in and accomplish this task. Thank you very much from Greg in Oregon!

Thanks for this video. I have already pruned the tops off around 3.5 feet. Now, I've got a lot of side shoots and I didn't know what to do with them. I will prune them around 12 to 15 inches. First year growing raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries. It's a little different for each one. This is the only video I could find the mentioned pruning the side shoots.

Excellent instruction. I just bought a home that has raspberry bushes in the backyard and I need to learn all there is to know about caring for them. It's August here in Ontario and I guess it's time for me to get doing some pruning. Thanks for sharing.

The leaves make an excellent tea...might harvest some from the cuttings.

Thanks for the video. I've watched about 4 videos now and they all differ a bit, but overall the same. I'll watch a few more and decide when to prune. Right now its the end of July 2021.
