Your kindle library is fascinating, but i'll wait for winter to start on the seasonal picks :) Glad to here you enjoyed The Housemaid, looking forward to the 3rd one being released soon to finish off the trilogy.

I havn't heard anything bad about "Someone... Nest In" The translated book I'm looking forward to comes out just after August on September 3rd, it is "The Night Guest" by Hildur Knutsdottir, it seems to be her first book to be translated into english. I have read from the translator before, she wtote "The Spare Man" which I really really disliked so that will be interesting.

I always read "summery" books when the temperature climbs, not necessarily with light or fluffy themes though. Actually I'm waiting for the autumn intermezzo in June to end to read a certain murder mystery set in a certain spooky wood during a heatwave. Well😗

I definitely have winter reads; I tend to read longer books and am more prepared to get emotionally invested when it is cold and grey outside. Once the Wainwright longlist is out a Zabriski visit might be planned? x

I am already getting so excited about the longlist announcement in July :) Hopefully they will be readily available in Germany! Interesting that you are more willing to get emotionally invested in your books as the days grow shorter. I feel like I need the sun as a safety blanket for my emotios!
