Ok, I clicked the like button 5 seconds into the video, because I missed you so much!! Welcome back! It sounds like you had a fun summer! Thanks for the reading recommendations! Btw, it is sooo refreshing to see that I am not the only person who doesn't always finish a book. Now I will no longer feel guilty about it!!

Totally agree about One Perfect Couple. It fell so flat, especially for the length of the book. Also The Reformatory was the best book I have read this year. So well written and heartbreaking.

Wasn't it incredible, Heather? But so sad!!!! I just wanted to keep all the boys safe. Even the ghosts....

Thank you thank you thank you for mentioning the issue of Gaza. God bless you and your dear ones. On a side note: love the nail colour

It’s horrific. It’s been horrific for nearly a year now. When will it end? Ugh And thanks for saying that. They are press on nails lol

New to your channel but thrilled to find a booktuber who isn’t obsessed with middle-grade (though I do like them), sci-fi fantasy (which I also read but not exclusively) & “clean” romance. 😂 The “Masie Dobbs” series is one of my all-time, hands-down favorites. The character development, across the series, was phenomenal. I’m sad the series is over. You seem to like a good mystery and you look for humor where you can find it. If you haven’t tried Richard Osmam, “The Thursday Murder Club” will have you laughing out loud, then quiet crying, all the while rooting for these 4 octogenarians. Highly recommended!

Is the series over for sure!!? Nooooooo!!!! I love it so much and I’m going to miss maisie!!

My husband bought a copy of Nuclear War earlier this summer after we watched her discuss it on a podcast. She was fantastic btw. Haven’t brought myself to read it bc the podcast terrified me lol maybe this fall 🤔 Glad to see you back in my feed! ☺️

I'd highly recommend the audio. She narrates it herself and it's really fascinating!!

Yay! Your back! I am also so glad that it is starting to cool down (even if just a tiny bit). So glad you had such a good summer with your Nora and your family. So lovely to see. My summer was pretty light on reading success, but I am currently trying to read The Covenant of Water. It is a chunky one so we shall see how it goes.

So good to see you again! I’m glad you had a relaxing and fun summer. I enjoy Stephen Graham Jones, but I steered clear of his new release because the premise didn’t appeal to me. I would recommend The Only Good Indians as a starting point for his books.

I thought it was just me, I was not a fan of One Perfect Couple. It was just too messy. I love Steve Cavanaghs Eddie Flynn series. Don’t have to read them in order but it helps. I read Thirten first which I think is the best, so I’d start there and then go back to the first.
