Love your videos! Ya might know Raphael, who no longer works at Cabelas, or that other place.? Anyways, the big ? Every novice fisherman wants to use braid....why are you guys using mono or flouro (I know) but what do you tell fishermen??

Usually I like braid too but when I'm fishing a jig that the flouro is nice and sensitive but also not too stiff and has some give when you set the hook to not rip it out their mouth . Also it's annoying retying leaders all day when you're rubbing against zebra mussels . I save braid to leader for my spinning rods or maybe like a spinner/chatterbait I don't mind braid to leader

When your fishing on Lake Michigan what water depth and bottom conditions do you look for?

Rock bottom with nice chunky boulders . Depth varies . Mostly 10 - 25 foot
