Take a seat and enjoy the ambience of this summer sunset during a candlelit dinner. Perched right over the seashore, this magical spot is the perfect spot to unwind as you to let the sounds of crashing waves, a distant crackling bonfire, and softly humming crickets lull you into a state of #relaxation.
For this week's ambience artwork I wanted to create a dreamy summer #sunset ambience with a resplendent color palette. I wanted it to be lucent and warm and give off all those cozy summer evening vibes! Basically, I hope that when you look at this you can smell the salty ocean air, the burning embers from a nearby bonfire, the melting candle wax, and the sweetest of summer florals. As for sounds, you'll hear the ocean waves crawling to the shore, the stridulation of crickets, a distant bonfire, clinking dishes, drinks being poured, and more.

You know, one of my favourite things to do when on vacation in Greece is to go for a walk near the sea, sit down and listen to the waves hitting the seashore... I'm having a rough patch in work at the moment (not in a negative sense, there's just too much work to do and not enough time to do it, but I was promoted and I'm getting enough money) and I just can't wait for this summer to leave there and have this so thank you for bringing it a bit earlier to my home :) Plus, it actually reminds me of the place where I used to dine the first time I was in Greece so... This is pure bliss. You got the wave sounds *just right* but the other water sounds too, like it burbling around the structure; I LOVE that. And you balanced the rest of the sounds, the tinkling, fog horn, crickets, the cutlery on plates! the crackling fire, etc., nicely. This could lull me to sleep right now! It makes me want to close my eyes, but the lighting and colours you used for this are so beautiful and evocative, I can't stop staring. I feel as though I could step right in. For me, this meal would be a most delicious fatty pasta dish, a fine salad, and a creamy dessert. After, I'd go sit on the beach, half in the water, and let the salty waves wash over me. The next morning, coffee, croissants, fruit, maybe some eggs, and then beachcombing!

Hello! Great question. I do *not* use AI for my artwork at all. I spent years learning 3D software (I license and use Maya) and really enjoy this process. While I think AI art can look pretty (if not a little wonky sometimes), I just prefer to put the actual work in and design scenes exactly how I want them. ❤️
