Great job switching it up to get the bites there bro. Just wondering, are there many species that get to a bigger size around there? Also completely unrelated but I saw you using mussels on that luderick video, have you tried using flies e.g. seaweed flies for the really highly pressured jetty fish?

I have a question where in Croatia do you fish

What pound line do you use
@Pootuffy Жыл бұрын
I was using 0.6 braid, which typically holds around 6lbs of strength depending on its quality. However, the one I chose claimed a breaking point of 13lbs, even though it had the thickness of a standard 6lb line. Given the sturdiness of the line I used, there was minimal risk of the small fish breaking it, so any braid between 6-10lbs would be good enough. My leader was 8lbs, and it performed well throughout my catches; I only experienced line breakage twice, both times due to snags on rocks. You can find all the specific line brands and details in the video's description. Wishing you all the best! 😊

I suggest you change the fishing spot and it's better when fish early in the morning, before dawn. What's your location?

I live in Australia, but I was fishing in Croatia on this trip. Most of my time was spent fishing around the southern islands, and I really enjoyed catching the cool small fish there. Next time, I'm thinking about trying my luck in deeper waters for some bigger catches! Unfortunately, I'm not the best at waking up early, so I might stick to fishing later in the day. Thanks for your advice-it means a lot! 😊

There are some really big fish around, there's tuna, amberjack, big grouper, swordfish and mahi mahi even. You just have to fish in deeper water. Most of the stuff I was fishing was close to shore and really shallow, only around 5-10metres deep! I haven't tried using flies or seaweed flies before, I have heard they work well though so they might be worth a shot! Thanks for your feedback :))
