I thought this… £1k budget and i’m pretty sure like £700 of rhat is being spent on youth players that aren’t good enough! Thought it would be easy to build a solid team in this league with a budget like that.

More important than the scouts are the club facilities, the coaches and that they won't have full contracts so they won't really train much. None of them will reach their potential and most won't even come close

I'd start by releasing all the young players with red training numbers ( there is a lot!) If they can't be bothered to train, don't think they'll ever be any good.

It doesn't make sense to sign all your youth prospects. As you say the 5 star potential doesn't mean anything because the club doesn't have top staff or facilities and they don't have full contracts, so they won't fulfill that potential. You should only sign the ones that are any good

Need to stop singing every kid who comes through the youth intake. Some of them are absolutely rubbish and just wasting the moneys
