Very much appreciated. We use six or eight pound braid or mono main line and 4-6 lb fluorocarbon leader.

Im truly enjoying your videos , thank you for them . Im new to trout fishing , if you dont mind me asking , how long is your leader for the carolina rig ? And what size hook do you use ?

@@franciscocervantes9399 size 10-14 single hook, sometimes size 8 when running a worm. Leader depends on where I'm fishing but typically will run 3-5 feet of Fluorocarbon leader.

What size hooks are you using? Having trouble getting the hook set with smallish hooks and worms. Driving from Bend, OR, going to take my 6yr old boy out here for his birthday next weekend. Any help is appreciated!

@@BlessedPoker We use size 10-14 single hooks but you can totally try size 6-8 and be just fine. I would recommend possibly using a treble hook. Would be much friendlier for your boy too! Happy to answer any more specific questions for you. Just shoot us an email or message on Instagram.

@@Juanito23384 This one has 50 feet which is more than enough for this time of year. We have used up to 150 feet before. This is just a cheap Amazon one that you can get for under $40. In the past, we've used an old protoco crab ring.
