Jayla's sister is the cutest. I love how she's so sweet, and still innocent cause children grow up so fast these days. Also, girl that Louisiana video had me in tears. I couldn't watch the Philando one after I seen the children from his school speaking so highly of him. It's almost like I feel depressed. I haven't really posted anything, outside of what's going on.

prayers are with you and your family. my grandpa passed earlier this year after being in hospice care. I can't speak for everyone else but I'll continue to watch your vlogs. you don't have to be vocal about certain current events. you have a lovely spirit and I know watching your vlogs brings me back to a happy place. continue being you and becoming a better you always ♡

Jayla don't let anyone bully you into talking about what is on every channel on tv and all on the internet. People handle things differently.... like you said on snap "The time you putting in to tell me to speak out is the time you could be putting in yourself. Keep your head high Queen ! #AllLivesMatterWhenBlackLivesMatter!!

+Bethany Bea-Brooke I'm sorry are you not watching the same news as the rest of the world and the similarities of the victims ? Your asking someone who deals with hell JUST BECAUSE of their skin color to just pray and sweep the bull under the rug . I'm not here to argue with you , to busy actually making positive moves and contributions to the problem while at the same time PRAYING for everyone. Good Day love && God Bless😘

I agree! I hate when people force people to do something. Not everyone has to speak publicly about a situation if they don't want to.
@itsericanicole52438 жыл бұрын
Jayla I so commend you on how you handled the events that have happened these past few days. I'm not very vocal either and I just could so relate to you on that. Also, my mom has retired from the police force and just hearing your dad talk and my mom talk about their pain, it just saddens me. Being black and having loved ones on the police force cause you to be in an odd predicament. You find yourself wanting to defend officers because you know so many who are great and then you get angry when you see how the select few go out and harm your people. It's rough out here.. Praying for our nation..

It's funny to me that while people are sitting there judging you for not posting on social media you were dealing with your own personal problems, instead of using their own voice to post on social media. Every voice matters no matter how big or small. No matter how many subscribers you have on KZbin, likes on Facebook and followers on Instagram, every voice counts. Stay strong Jayla!!! 💪

I apologize for the conversation we had on missylynn's post. It was very insensitive of me. You're just someone that I look up to and you've inspired me so much in not only life but college and my KZbin channel. It was just hard for me to see everything going on and seeing that you weren't able to address the black lives matter movement. But I'm happy you made this video to clear everything, I love you so much and you've impacted my life so much that me "in subscribing and unfollowing" for something as small as that , which people were talking about just doesn't make sense. Continue to stay positive Jayla.
@jennaelisabeth8 жыл бұрын
This is why it is so important for us not to judge! Everyone deals with tragedy differently. Some are vocal while others shut down from the world and even develop depression if it becomes too overwhelming. I'm glad you apologized Ruby but please remember more than anything Jayla is a human being and she has to deal with things her own way and in her own time. I had a gut feeling you were going to address this in your vlog Jayla which is why I didn't jump to conclusions and attack like others did. I'm praying for you and your family during this difficult time in your life especially with your grandpa.

The government cannot read our minds, the people who oppress us cannot read our minds. Speaking up may be uncomfortable but it has to be done in order for change to happen. Slavery would not have ended if people did not speak up against it. In the history of social reform, silence has never brought about change. So if you want to see change, you're gonna have to set your uncomfortable feelings aside and speak up. I'm not referring to Jayla specifically, I am talking about us as a race, us as a people.
