Ahhhh I feel like a big circle rug would’ve have looked so good in your living room! It would bring different shapes to the room and make it less “awkward”. I love that rectangle one you chose though, it’s similar to your runner. (: Maybe you could move it up to your office and try a larger rug downstairs in the future! All love! 🤍

I learned a trick from a vegan blogger. Since you enjoy tofu so much, if you want to be able to make it crispy freeze it. It helps to get the water out. You freeze it then defrost it, cut or slice it and lay on paper towel then you can get it really crispy without using much oil or vegan butter. I tried it and it was like having french fries that's how crispy it was.

Incredible job on the yard btw, it’s just beautiful. May I suggest a manual push mower? They make very small ones that have no engine or gas or any of that loud stuff. ♥️

I understand that spiders are scary looking but they are actually great for your garden. They eat mosquitoes and flies so your garden doesn’t get gross. And try Diatomaceous Earth for a natural pesticide! It’s pet friendly and nontoxic! But besides that advice, your backyard looks amazing!

I really think you should move the rug closer to the fireplace and angled wall. I think it will make the space a little cozier. I really like the texture it add and love the contrast of the dark table with the rug and couch.

the patio/backyard looks great! Have you thought about spray painting the white ducting black or dark brown? I think it would stand out less if you did that. I have these white drain pipes that run down one side of my house and I sprayed them brown to blend in more with the mulch and it looks so much better.
