I recently had the immense pleasure of capturing the wedding of Sarah and Paul at the stunning Harvey's Point Lakeside Hotel, Lough Eske, Donegal Town. Their special day was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments, and I'm thrilled to share a glimpse of it here.
The Morning Preparations
The day began with a flurry of excitement and anticipation. Sarah prepared for her big day at her parent's house in Ramelton. Just opposite St. Mary’s Chapel where the ceremony was to be held. The house was buzzing with energy as Sarah, surrounded by her bridesmaids and family, got ready.
Meanwhile, Paul and his groomsmen were getting suited up in Rathmullan.
A Heartfelt Ceremony at St. Mary’s Chapel
The ceremony took place in the picturesque St. Mary’s Chapel, Ramelton, Co. Donegal. The chapel was adorned with beautiful flowers. Zara Mountgomery provided the perfect musical backdrop with her exquisite performance. One of the most touching moments was when Sarah’s father joined Zara with his guitar to perform a song as the couple signed the register.
A Scenic Journey to Harvey's Point
After the heartfelt ceremony, Sarah and Paul, along with their guests, embarked on a journey south through the breathtaking Barnesmore Gap to reach their reception venue at Harvey's Point Hotel, Lough Eske.
The Elegant Reception at Harvey's Point
Harvey's Point did not disappoint with its picturesque lakeside setting. The reception was a delightful mix of sophistication and warmth. Guests enjoyed exquisite cuisine and heartfelt speeches. Arthur provided the evening entertainment, setting the perfect tone with his music that had everyone dancing and celebrating.
A Night to Remember
Just before the evening buffet, all the guests were invited outside for a spectacular fireworks display. The night sky over Lough Eske was lit up with brilliant colours, creating a magical end to a perfect day.
