I'm the head and all that. I had to retrain myself. We are 2 equals having different roles. I must do mine. It's not a woman's role to do all the house chores. It's not an ideal culture. I use to listen to Funke Adejumo and I noticed that she preaches that women should literally worship their husbands! I stopped listening to her when I realised that I didn’t marry a deity as a husband. I respect my husband and I respect myself and vice versa so her idea of marriage, special plates, special cups, special cutlery and special seats for husbands won’t work for me. That woman is misleading people, preaching how she worships her husband and so on. Being a woman is tough enough, and being an African woman makes it tougher. I can’t add Funke Adejumo to the stress of being a woman.
