Pure Juice still remains one of my personal alternative music favorites. It led to so many other finds and a love for the 90s genre stable. I WANT a revival of this kind of sound so badly.

Wow. I listen to this song with tears in my eyes. Takes me back to being 13 years old again living in New Mexico with my mom and listening to this stuff on tv and in the car while going to the swimming pool. I wish today's bands could take a page out of these guys book and make good melodic guitar driven alternative rock popular again. Now I have to go listen to some Sponge and Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Peace!

At the time they signed with Maverick, Alannis Morrisette was blowing up, so Maverick doubled down on Allanis instead of pushing other artists in their portfolio. Sad for SummerCamp, and music in general.

.......still one of the flat-out HEAVIEST, like Semisonic's "If I Run" one year before largely due to the dynamics, songs I've heard in over 4 decades of listening - very, very akin to Elliott Smith in retrospect - and that's probably why it hit me SO incredibly hard 14 years ago, why I still love it so much.....

Checkout Fun Razor by Tim Cullen and also the drummer Tony had a band called Honeycut with a few records out and is now in The Dirty Ghosts from SF and the bass player is in The Penfifteen Club. They are reuniting for the first time in 17 years on August 8th in Santa Barbara.

Man, this song was so damn good but the rest of the album sounded nothing at all like this. Brilliant single but the rest of the tracks were not even in the same league. It sucks, they definitely had potential but they never had time to explore it. Another casualty of disinterested major record labels.
