True bravery isn't the absence of fear. It's overcoming that fear. Great video, as always, Summer

Bruh if it were me I'd never touch a backflip again after hitting my head. Very impressive that you made that much progress that quick after such an incident. You're more than just muscles, you have a strong mind too 💪

I bought backflip lessons from a gymnast when I was 18. We did a silent auction at the summer camp we both worked at and it was so fun. I got to the point where I was landing on my knees on the grass... but the ball thing onto the sand is a great idea.

Hey, just weanted to say you're a great inspiration for me! Watching your progress made me motivated to train my pull ups from just 4 to 13! Also I'm improving on skills like hand stands and hand stand push ups, each time I try I can stand for a bit longer. Soon I'll feel confident enough to learn flips and stuff as well.

..you could try the "ninja" backflip, it's a bit easier and more practical; when jumping, throw one knee to the opposite shoulder and look over the same shoulder when turning. You can practice this on the ground first, there it becomes a backward role:)

You did really well! you had a serious trauma when you hit your head and it's difficult to work through that. There is a technique you can learn called EFT (The navy SEAls use it) that can help work through trauma. You can find someone to teach you or buy a book and teach yourself. Either way I hope you're back flipping all over the place soon!

why don't you work on it on the trampoline first? You need to have your arms go past your years before you throw yourself backwards. Look forward till the last moment. That you can only learn on the trampoline. Don't say that you will learn it in two hours. I don't like how people think it's an easy skill and think they are better than anymore else because they can learn it fast. if you keep doing backflips you will see that your first year of doing backflips will look completely different from the second one.

So doing back flips is about mental abilitly. It's not 100 about full body abilities. If your mind is off, you will hurt yourself. Some guy in Los Angeles at a Capoeira class broke his neck because he hesitated mid flight. Also, practicing on a yoga ball is foolish. That simulates a fantasy. Do it on the grass to be more realistic. Calisthenics and break dancing, gymnastics, tricking is not related. You can do one arm handstands / muscle ups / and planches / but the chances are slim a calisthenic person will ever master an airflare ( id say 1 out of 200 would be successful ) Also, explosive 720 corkscrews have nothing to do with calisthenics, u are mistaken thinking you will just slide into air power without struggling like a mug for years.
@TheFlyingHeifer Жыл бұрын
also dont learn it on a ball. That causes u to have all your weight on your heals of your feet which is the exact opposite of what u want.
@TheFlyingHeifer Жыл бұрын
bruh thinking u can get it in 2 hours is as delusional as it can get. Like who tf r u
