Summerland 50: the service

Watch the full moving service held on the site of the Summerland complex fifty years to the day when 50 people lost their lives in the complex. Summerland campaigner Tina Brennen calls for the need to make a proper memorial on the site followed by a very powerful and moving speech from a Summerland survivor Jackie Hallam, finishing with a poem from another survivor Robert E Wilson.

So glad this memorial was held at the actual summerland site,where a proper memorial site should stand it is disgusting that it’s left as it is an eyesore to always remind people of that fateful nite ,it needs addressing as soon as possible ,bless Jackie it was heartbreaking when she broke down remembering her loved ones and everyone else that died that night ,and the gentleman who survived his poem was so touching ,you yourself Tina are marvellous in keeping up with your campaigning over 10 years.
