Summersville Lake, West Virginia

I really like how you combined the drone footage with the kayak footage. Summersville Lake looks really beautiful. It was great to see you paddling through the rocks. The rock formations look amazing and the waterfall was really spectacular. It was great to see the footage from over the highway. I loved the end of the video. There are some real daredevil jumpers. Wets Virginia is a such a beautiful State. The scenery is incredible. Thank you so much your fantastic videos.

Thank you! My wife took the kayak footage while I paddled. Launching and landing a drone from a kayak is quite a nerve racking experience! It is a gorgeous lake in a gorgeous state. The cliffs and rock formations really make it special. The bridge is on US19, which 20 miles further south, crosses the famous New River Gorge Bridge. My favorite part was the end too! The number of folks jumping was mind boggling, though, when we were first married, we used to jump from those cliffs too! Thank you for all your support! @@dronebastard1049 It would be quite challenging to launch the drone from a Kayak. You are lucky that your wife can paddle so well. I thought that bridge was US 19. I was just there a week ago. How fun. Thank you for showing us all these cool places. Now my curiosity is peaked about WV. I know nothing about that state other than it's a very economically-depressed place with lots of drug use. And that they sided with the Union Army in the Civil War, hence why they fractured off of VA. And of course, the famous song.

Ha! Yes, WV definitely has its issues. My wife grew up there and we met in high school after I moved there from Florida. After graduating and having dead end jobs for three years, we moved to Ohio for work because, like you said, there aren't as many opportunities as most states, which leads to poverty and higher drug use. The vast majority of the state is very rural. However, the people there, like its scenery, are awesome, down to earth folks that'll do anything for you. John Denver hit the nail on the head when he said "Almost Heaven!"
