You all did it. You got that stinkin truck runnin! Can't believe you ever got all that engine and other parts cramed in there in the first place! What a great job to everyone who helped with it. Sounds good and runs good. Again I tip my hat to the anchor brand ranch cowboys and shade tree mechanics!

It is so cool to watch the kids drive(everything) my wife gets a kick out of it to. She grew up on a ranch and wheat farm in washington state. Hard workers. Your kids. My wife and her brothers. I dont know to many people that can out work them. Farm/Ranch life formed their work ethics.

Ram , good to see ya got the ole ford running with the Cummins in it , I had that same year Ford with the 6.9 in it , drove it 160000 miles but it was a job keeping it going. You got a lot better idea going with the Cummins and better yet your son rebuilt it ! I’d be proud of that truck !! And what a great ranch truck , you can let Laura take it to town for groceries and not worry at all about it getting dinged in the parking lot ! You guys keep up the good work and we’ll keep watching from this end !!

sweet. in 2005 i bought a 6.4 with a blown valve and had it in my garage. after buying a long block and 6 months later my ford f 350 like yours was like new again. then my neighbor came across the street and said, pat you cost me $50 . i said why, he said we bet youd never get that truck running. gee thanks for the vote of confidence.. in 200 i drove it to houston from san diego and back after fema repairs i made in texas/

We had an old Ford F6 hay truck that was temperamental about shifting at times. If I shifted into a forward gear then eased the clutch just a tiny bit, not enough to enough to even move the truck but just enough to jiggle the gears, I could then go back and shift it into reverse.

If I remember correctly you left the Ford Transmission in the build. If you know roughly the difference you need to make call a good Ford parts guy and he can sell you a plastic gear to swap out very simple on most Ford standard transmissions. ( FYI but not all of them ) Last thing are you going to have this truck ready for S.E.M.A. next year ?

I think its riley who is the super cowboy i see alot. If thats his name. He really has it going on! Or is it rio or both? All your boyz and daughter are fantastic!
Ramsey before you finish that build you need to put a good big air cleaner filter on the turbo intake so that you don't dust the motor straight away .
