Looks like some fun! Last time I threw a jig there, it was a bite on every cast--unfortunately, it was sunfish popping the claws off my trailers until I gave up and switched lures! Trying to get back on the river in a couple weeks (we drive up from VB)--hoping for a little rain between now and then as I see the river gauges have been quite low. Keep the videos coming--726 and growing!

Do you use all high speed reels in the kayak in case they run at you or do you use the same speed reels as you would fishing from a boat? Thanks

For a baitcaster o usually like a 8:1 gear ration and for spinning I also use a fast one if I can
