The sinks are a bad touch. I had sinks like in the bathroom in one of my houses and would never do that again ! The single door in the garage is the best idea anyone has had. Love it and so useful. Love the house 💞

Hey Mike.. in order to prolong the nylon sprockets in the openers just add some grease to reduce the friction. Small tube usually comes inside the opener packaging. Using a small bristled brush run the opener when the cover is off the unit... it can be added to the circular sprocket as well as the worm gear- Maybe yearly.. depending on useage. Now a days like you mentioned in the video.. garage doors are usually over used as a side door type of entry point. Useful info the garage door installer won’t tell use.. to stay in business. Probably get over 10-15 yr if done consistently. I worked service for a OHD company and learned to troubleshoot and rebuild the openers.. learned a lot and loved every day. This is my dream.. I've wayy overshot my capabilities I've learned that for sure. Humble Beginnings. As long as my family, especially my 2 big babies and the one tiny one who seems to be all I really left.. We will leave the light on for everyone else though. I love the wheel chair access shower, thinking ahead. A mudroom drop zone, I would love that laundry room, does it have access to the outdoors? Some things just need to be line dried. I could move in right now.

I would have put a window seat at the landing at the stairs. The kitchen definitely should have been bigger. I would have also put in a walkout basement. And why in the world did you put a willow tree so close to the septic? Not only do they seek out water but they also have one of the widest root systems and will destroy the septic. Other than that the house looks good.

This is a beautiful, well crafted house in a beautiful area but I would worry about flooding. The house is built well below street level. I hope there is enough area for torrential rain to drain off and keep draining off without backing up. I live in the Houston, Texas metro area which has had horrific, dangerous, heartbreaking flooding. My lot has good drainage and my house is also above street level and has not had flood water inside. I was one of the lucky ones in my neighborhood.

We were living in Colorado for a while. Looked at some new home construction. Somewhere in the mid 300’s. Such shady construction. Even the realtor was embarrassed at some of the things I pointed out. Ended up not buying and moving back to New England. Now I see this home and think wow,,,, this would do nicely here. Only one kid left home though. Would like to see this design as a single story similar layout. Detail is phenomenal. You get what you pay for I’m sure.

Nice home overall. The kitchen however is a black hole eating all light in the room. Dark floors + dark cabinets + dark counter tops = really dark kitchen. And should have gone with taller wall cabinets so they could have been taken up to the ceiling. Just wasted space for dust bunnies now.

Looked a lot better from the outside. Very disappointing on the inside. Rooms are too small and a very poor layout. The one positive thing I have to say is that the craftsmanship is very nice. I think tiled bathrooms would ad to this home.
