Summerville, Georgia

Summerville, in the northwest Georgia foothills, is home to about 4,500 residents. This small town is full of friendly people, and has many natural wonders nearby such as Pigeon Mountain, and James H. Floyd State Park. The city is 50 minutes south of downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee, and 30 minutes north of Rome, Georgia. On your next trip through, make a stop by a local restaurant, or take a hike among the beautiful ridges and valleys of the area.

In this place I had my first adult relationship with Branch Connelly and in the drama of that he killed himself. I grieve for him to this day!

I love small towns because they feel very cozy. Plus, I never knew that there was a Summerville in Georgia before. My mom just mentioned this place to me last week, so I went to look for more inforanation. I live in South Carolina, and one of the coincidences is that they have a town called Summerville, too.
