Some of y'all dumb as rocks. Multiplayer games such as SoT can be considered dead when they have low player counts, updates don't mean shit, WoW is considered to be dying because the player numbers keep reducing NOT because there is a lack of content, WoW keeps getting updated and keeps losing players, and still considered to be dying. Secondly, view count on both twitch and youtube on certain topics/games CAN show the levels of interest for those topics/games, the fact SoT went from a couple thousand views to a max of around 50k after the game had a low view count on Twitch does show increased interest in SoT, there are SoT youtubers that have had views such as Zylbrad I think it's also needed to consider the fact he doesn't play SoT exclusively, he plays other games as well, such as Fortnite, and I'm not sure if you two dumbassess are aware but that game is alive a.f. . So, to conclude, again, SoT WAS dead, ain't no more, did Summit really revive it all by himself, probably not, but he did reinstate a foothold to that game on Twitch again, and considered that THE DEVS THEMSELVES ADMIT THE GAME WAS DESIGNED AROUND STREAMING AND THE MOMENT TO MOMENT ENCOUNTERS I think that's a clear indication of people taking interest to SoT again. PS: The devs themselves admited they've had a big intake of new players, AKA, REVIVED INTEREST. PPS: Sub to pewdiepie pls Edit: PPPS: Should be noted that both devs and publishers also consider games successful when it has an active, increasing community, that extends to social media, i.e. twitch, youtube, reddit, twitter, etc.
