cars rely on 1 thing to race. Traction. Acceleration, braking, and turning all rely on traction for them to affect the car. Drifting removes a lot of traction therefore not a good strategy on surfaces with a lot of traction. Rallying however is a different story due to the lack of traction in the first place.

That car would be awesome to drift, but I doubt summit could drift it well enough to be a viable option in racing, he’d just slow himself down for almost no reason. So drifting would definitely be a side thing xd

After however many hours on the racing scene, you'd think a lot of the veterans would know some of the basic rules, don't go trying super hard when it first goes. If you crash and you're apart of the main group don't instantly try to get straight back in when you could cause even more crashes. And watch your surroundings, be weary of other drivers passing you, its why Summit always looks behind him since if theres a faster driver behind him and he knows he cant keep up, he'll literally tell the other person to go past him.

@@Jrenyar The guy that hit Hutch waited for him and let Hutch pass him. However that guy just doesn't seem to care that his "bubble" around the car cause I've seen him do it to others as well. For Hutch and LJ's POV the guy completely slams into him. From his perspective and Guy Jones (Knotty) it looked like there was room but the "bubble" around the car is what caught Hutch and pitted him. The biggest thing that makes me agree with Hutch is why did the guy dive so hard to the right? No local car was coming so he could have kept his line he was on. And some of the veterans ignore those rules even though they should know them. Mary jumping from the back of the pack and driving around more than half the racers before they cross the start line is stupid. She also tries to start every race up front until she gets called out. Lenny always slams super hard through the tracks. Hutch is also very unaware of his surroundings for most of the race. Summit has said multiple times Hutch needs to look behind and around him more to be aware.

@@catlinclawson2134 it's probably easy to forget you have the bubble until you see it happen (even Summit forgets) but he did dive super hard into the part which is just weird. Its always annoys me when those great drivers start at the front, like where's the challenge in that, Summit would probably win way more races if he started at the front, but even at the start of the race portion of the stream he'll be at the back.

@@catlinclawson2134 every race hutch gets caught in a pile up because he tries to gun it, just let the pack go and catch up to them, especially on lap 1. i really dont like how mary drives, she's much too aggressive at the start like you said passing before the start line. i feel like the veteran races need to create a list of guidelines to email to new races so they are aware of certain unwritten rules. all that said though, this new race scene looks like its going to be very good progression

Summit just wants the challenge of passing everyone and getting the W that way. Mary/Angel (Kylie) always tries easiest way to get the W. Even Eddie after the first race last night was called out that Veterans needed to start in the back.

She also plays a cop, Officer Angel, that unsurprisingly is hard to lose. Once they get the Intercepters in she should be the first one licensed for it but with the PD budget the way it is I imagine it’s going to be quite awhile unless Vulture l’Culture does another contest.

Just wondering about balancing. The old civic should be a class c...barely able to hold its place against this rs5. The cost increase isnt really what I would have done....but this audi should be another class than a subaru and a civic. It is modern, has much more grip, accelration and top speed... so this car simply should perform even better.. I dont know how to balance it further.

They changed it to allow locals cars because the racing scene died when it was your own car only. The bonus for owning a car and racing is you get the new racing crypto for placing along with cash while people racing with locals just get the cash.
